In this lesson, we are going to have a play with the BBC micro:bit and explore its capabilities. We’ll start off with some simple stuff, looking at scrolling text, manipulating the LED lights on our micro:bit (which forms our “screen”), and using the micro:bit to do some simple maths too. We’ll also take a quick look at music and sounds. During this lesson, we will also turn our micro:bit into a working dice, introducing random numbers, and using them in a sum to replicate a dice’s functionality.
